Maryland in Bloom
Maryland in Bloom
This one-of-a-kind Maryland in Bloom embroidery is made painstakingly by hand using organic fabric and hand stained hoops. These small works of art are perfect as unique gifts for a friend or family member, are beautiful when paired with each other and hung on any wall, or displayed on a desk or even on a dresser or bedside table. Custom pieces are available and can be made on request. The piece pictured here measures 6 inches in diameter.
We love Rise and Rejoice’s hand stitched embroidery for a couple reasons:
A.) Each mini tapestry is slightly different than the last and no two will ever look completely the same. This is (in our opinion) the beauty of owning these unique pieces.
B.) Shop owner, Sam Waid is a student at Towson University and pursues her hobby of embroidery on the side as a way to make extra money. Sam LOVES to travel and camp, on one of her most recent adventures she visited Yosemite National Park in California’s Sierra Nevada mountains with her dad. Sam is the inspiration and creative force behind why we do what we do, to support small, minority and female artists in their endeavors so they can cultivate. consciously a life full of art, passion and beauty.
So whether you’re looking to freshen up your room decor and add a piece of art to the wall for you and your visitors to enjoy for years to come or seeking the perfect one-of-a-kind gift for a friend, don’t sleep on these amazing pieces! They won’t last long <3
